If you’ve got experience in fibre splicing, know your way around a splice machine, and can deliver clean work under pressure — we want you on the tools and in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Fibre optic splicing, testing, and fault-finding

• Working across commercial and residential network builds

• Reading and interpreting plans, scopes, and job packs

• Completing works to spec, on time and with attention to detail

• Using OTDRs and other testing equipment to verify installations

• Collaborating with our project teams and supervisors for smooth delivery

• Keeping safety and quality front and centre at all times

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as a Fibre Splicer (Telstra/NBN network experience ideal)

• Sound knowledge of fibre types, enclosures, joints, and test equipment

• Ability to work autonomously and manage your day in the field

• White Card, valid driver’s licence

• ACMA Open Cabler Licence with Fibre Endorsement preferred

• A team-player mindset and a strong work ethic

Your Day-to-Day:

• Input, maintain, and manage critical data across internal systems

• Support the admin function with general tasks: scanning, filing, tracking docs

• Keep digital and physical records clean, accurate, and up-to-date

• Provide admin support to project and ops teams

• Stick to internal processes — and help improve them when needed

• Assist with project setups and smooth kick-offs

• Keep our contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders aligned and accountable

• Oversee procurement — get what we need, when we need it

• Help drive projects from start to finish, with a focus on timelines and quality

• Manage project variations with precision

• Split your time between the office and the field — no two days will look the same

• Ensure the right permits and approvals are in place

• Report on progress and support the Construction & Project Managers with clear updates
